About
I am an award winning Climate and Environment reporter with a dedication to advancing climate knowledge.
From the shores of Miami Beach to the sands of the Mojave Desert my work has spanned from coast to coast to highlight the impacts of climate change on our environment, people, and wildlife. Through my work, I aim not only to focus on climate change impacts but to highlight practical solutions and vigorous adaptation plans.
How did we get here?
My fascination with the natural world began at a young age, hoarding books on animal ecology and growing up among peach orchards and pine trees in the Pinelands National Reserve.
I was born into a generation, thrusted into an afflicted planet; rising temperatures, increased greenhouse gasses, and sweeping biodiversity loss. Since adolescence, I have looked for ways to be a kind steward of the planet and to inspire change.
I attended Florida International University to pursue a degree in Journalism with a minor in Environmental Science. This has allowed me to blend my passions for writing and the environment into one. I continuously strive to advance climate action, educate, and inspire others through storytelling.
“Ah dear nature—the mere remembrance, after a short forgetfulness, of the pine woods! I come to it as a hungry man to a crust of bread” -Henry David Thoreau
